Sonnet's optional speech recognition server allows you to
dictate the way you want and gain productivity improvements.
Here are some of Sonnet's speech recognition features:
1. Online Speech Recognition
Dictate
directly into Microsoft Word. When you are done you may submit
the dictation and text to a transcriber to complete the job.
2. Deferred Speech Recognition
Just
dictate the audio and submit the dictation job. The speech
recognition will occur offline on the speech recognition server.
The dictation and text are sent to a transcriber to complete
the job.
3. Email Speech Recognition
Now
with Sonnet you can dictate your emails using speech recognition.
4. Telephone Speech Recognition
Use
a telephone to dictate into the TeleWave telephony server.
TeleWave will submit the dictation into Sonnet and it will
convert the speech to text and submit the dictation and text
to a transcriber.
5. Pocket PC and Smartphone Speech recognition
Use
OPUS for Windows Mobile to dictate. Submit the dictation to
Sonnet and it will convert the speech to text and submit the
dictation and text to a transcriber.
6. Self Learning
The
speech recognition server will, over time, get to know your
voice. Speech recognition accuracy will improve over time.
7. Easy to Administer
Unknown
words will automatically be added to the speech recognition
dictionary (or context).
Automated
data synchronization between the client and servers.
The
speech recognition server can handle any number of different
users and speaker types.
Initial
voice training is not necessary.
Sonnet uses the SpeechMagic
speech recognition engine from Philips.
